Nieces Birthday's

Three of my nieces had birthday's in the last few months.

For two of them my sister made the cakes & did most the decorating - I just helped with accessories.

One was an Olivia theme. I did the Olivia pig & the letters.

The other was a fairy theme. I did the fairy & the mushrooms, bugs and flowers.

The horse cake I did the entire thing - to look like a bandana.

It's been a while since I've baked in the kitchen I guess.

Perhaps it's because I am in the middle of a remodel??

My little girl's 3rd birthday

My little baby girl turned 3. I can't believe how time flies. She had a french poodle birthday party. Next year she will get to choose her own theme & invite friends to her party :( She's growing up too fast. It was a great party with lots of yummy cake!

Birthday Cakes

My nieces have the same July birthday - which means cake!

One had a fairy party. My sister made her cake - I just did the decorations for the top. It turned out really cute.

The other niece had a horse party. They are going riding tomorrow. Her cake was bandana inspired. This one had to travel to the ranch where they are riding.

Little Nicole picked out a cake from my blog & put her own spin on it. She wanted pink (what girl doesn't) and of course pink/strawberry cake inside too.

I think I like it better pink - than the original green one that I made in February.

1st Birthday

The little girl I watch once a week turns ONE today! In honor of her birthday - I made her a mini cake. It was a quick job (aka ... far from perfect) - while she took a nap :)

This cake was for the end of year banquet for my MOMS Club. It was vanilla cake with lemon buttercream filling. It was so yummy & moist.

The theme this year was flowers & garden - so I went with a bright & cheery cake with a few flowers. Love the orange!
